Coral Bridge Contemporary Gallery presents New Voices of Egypt, a curated international art project bringing together 16 Egyptian contemporary and emerging artists and 32 carefully selected artworks.
Egyptian contemporary art is experiencing a dynamic period of growth, with a new generation of artists developing individual visual languages while engaging with questions of identity, memory, culture, society and personal experience.
New Voices of Egypt was created to highlight this diversity and introduce selected Egyptian artists and their work to a wider international audience. Rather than presenting a single definition of contemporary Egyptian art, the exhibition brings together different perspectives, artistic approaches and personal experiences, creating a multifaceted portrait of the country’s contemporary art scene.
Beyond the familiar image of Egypt
Egypt is often associated internationally with its ancient civilisation and extraordinary artistic heritage. New Voices of Egypt looks instead at the country through the eyes of artists creating today.
The selected works explore a wide range of themes, including identity, memory, human relationships, nature, culture and everyday life. Some artists draw inspiration from Egypt’s rich cultural heritage, transforming familiar symbols and visual references through contemporary approaches. Others focus on intimate experiences, emotional states or observations of modern life.
Together, the works demonstrate that contemporary Egyptian art cannot be reduced to a single aesthetic or narrative. It is diverse, personal and constantly evolving.

The 32 artworks presented in New Voices of Egypt were carefully reviewed and selected specifically for this project. Each artist is represented by two works chosen to reflect their artistic practice and individual voice.

The exhibition brings together artists with different backgrounds, techniques and approaches, offering viewers an opportunity to discover the breadth and diversity of contemporary Egyptian artistic expression.

An international digital presentation
New Voices of Egypt will be presented as an online exhibition on a leading French art platform, giving the participating works an opportunity to reach audiences beyond Egypt.

The project will also include a 3D virtual exhibition, providing an additional way for visitors to experience selected works and discover the participating artists.

For Coral Bridge Contemporary Gallery, the project represents a continuation of its mission to create opportunities for Egyptian artists to gain international visibility and to build connections between Egypt’s contemporary art scene and the wider global art community.
The audience will have a voice
The exhibition will invite viewers to participate in selecting their favourite artwork.
From 1 to 10 September 2026, an audience vote will take place on Instagram, giving viewers the opportunity to choose the work that makes the strongest impression on them.

In parallel, the 32 artworks will be evaluated by Olga Onopko, an artist, educator, Bachelor of Arts, painter, author of academic articles on art and an experienced judge of international art and visual arts competitions.
The jury will select the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place artworks based on artistic merit.
The results of the jury selection and the Audience Award will be announced between 11 and 15 September 2026.
Supporting Egyptian artistic voices
New Voices of Egypt is not intended simply as a temporary online presentation. It is an opportunity to create lasting visibility for participating artists and to introduce their practices to audiences who may be discovering their work for the first time.
The project is presented free of charge to participating artists and includes international online exposure, a 3D virtual exhibition, promotional support and an International Digital Certificate of Participation issued by Coral Bridge Contemporary Gallery.
Through this project, Coral Bridge aims to encourage the discovery of new artistic voices and demonstrate the richness and diversity of contemporary Egyptian art.
New Voices of Egypt is an invitation to look at Egypt through the eyes of its contemporary artists — to discover their stories, perspectives and individual ways of seeing the world.
